Our Events

A group of our parents took up the chance to show the kids how its done and play a 11v11 match against our coaches. It was a fantastic day and a really good match with the money we raised being used to buy all the children in the club an Easter Egg. 

We love having fun at SRDC and at Halloween we encouraged all the children to attend their training session in their Halloween costumes. It really livened up the sessions and scared the lives out of our coaches. 

Some of our coaches again joined with the Firefighters at Leyland Fire Station to undertake a huge 1 million steps challenge in 24 hours. The group trekked on for hours and hours in order to raise cash for the club. 

At Xmas we held an inter club tournament that got all the kids in the club together to have a run around. We mixed the ages and teams up so that all different ages could mix together and enjoy a fantastic day. And they all ended up with a selection box.  

We are always trying different ways to raise money for our club and the kids and parents are always happy to get involved. We joined with the Firefighters at Leyland Fire Station to wash some cars and raise some cash. 

Every year SRDC join with loads of other clubs and businesses to participate in Leyland Festival, proceeding through the streets of Leyland and finishing up on the park for a kick about.
