U7 Blues

              The second of our youngest teams are the Blues who represent our club in the Mid Lancashire Colts Junior Football League in the White division. They play their games at Central Venue in Penwortham on grass and the Withy Grove venue in Bamber Bridge on astro turf. At this age there are no results submitted and no league tables as it is about building their confidence and skill levels and their love for the game. The league tracks the results of the games so that they can organise the fixtures and leagues so that the games are competitive, and teams are matched with others of similar ability.

               Our Under 7 Blues first started training together late 2022 with our Purples as an Under 6 Development squad and are now enjoying their first taste of league football. We split the children in to 2 teams so the children were comfortable at their ability levels and to give them the best opportunity to develop. Our Blues team entered at a higher ability level as a lot of the children had been playing for a number of years before joining our club.

 

               They have 2 fantastic coaches working with them and a great backroom of parents who are invested in the teams success.

               They currently train on a Thursday night at 6-7 at Worden High School and play their games at either 09:30, 10:30 or 11:30 0n a Saturday morning.
