U9 Blues

​

               Our U9 Blues play in the Mid Lancashire Colts Junior Football League in the Orange Division alongside our Purples side. They play their home games at Leyland St. Marys High School on the astro turf, this terrific venue ensures that all home games are guaranteed to be on due to the high standard of the all weather pitch and allows us to provide football to the children nearly every weekend. At this age there are no results submitted and no league tables as it is about building their confidence and skill levels and their love for the game. The league tracks the results of the games so that they can organise the fixtures and leagues so that the games are competitive, and teams are matched with others of similar ability.

               The majority of this team have been together since U6’s and have developed really well and are competing at a mid level of ability within the leagues. At this age they play 7v7 and our Blues currently have 12 players registered. They have 2 fantastic coaches that lead this team with verve and passion, Kieran is the man behind building this team and he has been joined this season by Danny and together they make a formidable coaching duo with the aim of helping the team achieve great results.

               They currently train on a Monday night at Leyland St. Marys High School all weather pitch at 7-8 and play their home games on a Saturday morning at Leyland St. Marys High School at 11am.
